Cia Polem is a circus theater company made up of four talented women who live in the enchanting Vale do Capão in Chapada Diamantina, Bahia. Joined together by their love of art and desire to explore the infinite possibilities of the body and mind, they created the performance Batom de beterraba (Beetroot Lipstick). This lyrical and feminine show uniquely and creatively depicts the delusions and worldviews of these four artists using four different circus techniques: capillary strength, hula hoop, handstand, and physical theater.

In Batom de beterraba (Beetroot Lipstick), Cia Polem takes the audience on a sensory and emotional journey, where a simple beet, cooking pans, and various spices become symbolic elements that drive the narrative.
