FIAC Bahia was born in 2008 and, since then, has held 15 editions, establishing itself as a laboratory for innovation in the performing arts. Its proposal has a rhythm that permeates the very act of artistic creation; it evokes other forms of knowledge at the street corners of the city and its spaces, on the internet and its networks, blurring categories and playing with ambivalences.
FIAC Bahia is a call for collective construction, understanding that relationships of co-authorship and the strengthening of community bonds are actions in continuous flow, in a spiraling time.

Connections that Transform the Artistic Scene
The International Festival of Performing Arts of Bahia (FIAC Bahia), organized by 7oito Projetos e Produções, with financial support from the State of Bahia through the Culture Fund, the Secretary of Culture, and the Secretary of Finance, is an ongoing cultural development project that connects links in the production chain to enable and enhance the artistic production of Bahia, the Northeast, and the nation.
In partnership with Trilhas da Cena, a bilingual platform dedicated to the performing arts, FIAC Bahia expands the promotion of Brazilian works and artists, contributing to their internationalization. Trilhas da Cena brings together significant names and works from the artistic scene, generating knowledge, discoveries, and professional opportunities for those working in this field.
Expanding the points of contact between artists, works, audiences, and professionals means investing in the dissemination and preservation of artistic productions, as well as supporting structural initiatives for the sector, such as the Trilhas da Cena platform.
